The Heavy-Duty Standard
Fired at significantly higher temperatures than ceramic, porcelain is incredibly dense and highly impervious to moisture.
- ✓ Water Absorption < 0.5%: Meets strict ASTM standards for water resistance, making it the only choice for shower floors and outdoor patios.
- ✓ High PEI Rating (4-5): Extremely scratch and wear-resistant. Ideal for high-traffic entryways and large-format (24x48) floor layouts.
Ceramic Tile

Made from coarser clay and fired at lower temperatures, ceramic is softer, more porous, and easier to cut into intricate shapes.

- ✓ Vertical Applications: Perfect for standard shower walls (when installed over waterproofing) or decorative accent walls where foot traffic is zero.

The Custom Tile Process.
Mastering tile requires exact geometry, high-strength polymers, and immense patience.
Demo & Subfloor
We cleanly remove old units down to the studs or concrete. We ensure the subfloor is perfectly rigid—if a floor bounces, tile will crack. We use self-leveler if needed.
Waterproofing
For wet areas, we pitch the shower pan perfectly to the drain and apply the 100% waterproof Schluter membrane system, sealing all seams and corners.
Layout & Setting
We utilize laser levels to establish perfectly plumb and square center lines. We use advanced tile leveling clips (wedges) to ensure the surface has zero "lippage" between tiles.
Grout & Seal
Once the thinset cures, we apply premium sanded, unsanded, or high-performance epoxy grout. We finish by caulking all changes in plane (like corners) to prevent cracking.
